Such a simple invention, Velcro, a type of fastener. Originally invented in 1948 by a Swiss engineer George de Mestral, or was it?
This is how George explained his inspiration; he was combing his dog's fur to get a burr that was tangled out when he came up with the idea.
It does sounds logical that he'd come up with this idea while removing the burr but is this true, or is it one of those backward engineered products gathered from downed UFOs recovered by the United States government?
Velcro works by using two components, a lineal fabric strip with small hooks and another strip with smaller loops, which attaches itself temporarily to each other until pulled apart.
In the Roswell crashes of 1947, the dead aliens, the Greys were said to have had what appeared to be Velcro strips on their jump/space suits, one year before Velcro was invented.
