If it were God, do you really think he would allow all the pain and suffering, the starving children, the brutality and hatred going on throughout the world today?
Deuteronomy 32:4 He (referring to God) is the Rock, his works are perfect and all his ways are just. A faithful God who does no wrong, upright and just is he.
Wouldn't God scrap what he made if it weren't working for him, since it was just a prototype anyway, how many times do scientists do experiments before the final outcome is decided? Hundreds of times!
But no, according to the bible, God isn't the ruler of the world, another angel rules, a fallen angel, his name is Satan. He gained control over the world at the beginning of human history when he tricked Eve to rebel against God. Genesis 3:1-6. The couple chose Satan over God, making him the rightful ruler of the world.
But... in the end, God is really the ruler of the world; he let Satan talk Adam into eating the apple that Eve offered to him, because he wanted them to have the "right to choose." He was hoping for a landslide win as he thought the people would surely choose him!
Unfortunately they chose wrong, look at the situation the world is in today, because of Adam and Eve we're existing on the edge, ready to destruct at any time. Now we pay with all the pain and suffering, the starving children, the brutality and hatred, throughout the world today.
Deuteronomy 6:6; 30:16-19
"This day I call heaven and earth as witness against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live and love God, listen and hold him close, he will give you many years in the land."
Thanks a lot!
I think God and Satan should fight a duel. Winner takes all, and settle the debate forever:
"Who rules this world, anyway!"
