1. Cholesterol levels. LDL the bad one (low) and HDL the good one (high).

4. Blood Pressure
Check your blood pressure. Every drug store has a machine to test yourself. High blood pressure is referred to as the "Silent Killer." Being on a dialysis machine is not fun and can promote other problems, like hemorrhages of the brain. Sudden death is the first symptom.
